Imani’s modeling career began during her last semester of college at Barnard at Columbia University, where she was an Urban Studies major with a concentration in Art history. Fascinated by how urban space breeds creativity, Imani traveled abroad in Madrid, where the convergence of music and fashion inspired her to give modeling a try. Her career quickly progressed, and has since worked with numerous brands such as Prada, Marc Jacobs, MAC and Fenty Beauty.
When she is not modeling, you can find Imani exercising her voice on the web; she has written numerous articles for publications like The FADER, and No Man’s Land. An avid passion for interiors has also led Imani to dip her toes in the world of interior design, currently planning and producing a capsule collection of one-off lamps with an artist based in Woodstock. In addition, Imani is also in the beginning stages of co-designing a size-inclusive capsule collection for et Tigre co.
